For most valeting and detailing appointments, I can come directly to your home or workplace with the equipment needed to carry out the service.

For more involved paint correction, ceramic coating, intensive detailing or paint and bodywork projects, vehicles can also be worked on at our professional studio and bodyshop near Helston.

My standard coverage includes Porthleven, Helston, Falmouth, Penzance, Marazion, Mousehole, Newlyn, St Ives, Hayle, Mullion, the Lizard and Truro, along with surrounding areas.

I'm also happy to travel further across Cornwall. Any additional travel charge will always be confirmed before you book and may be waived for larger detailing or paint correction jobs.

Yes. Sunshine Valets is fully mobile. I arrive with my own water, power and professional valeting and detailing equipment.

You don't need to provide a hose or electricity. All I need is enough space to safely work around the vehicle.

The Maintenance Valet is designed to maintain your initial booking and you want regular upkeep.

The Deep Clean is better suited to cars that need a more thorough reset inside and out.

If the paintwork is dull, swirled or lightly scratched, a Single Stage Enhancement uses machine polishing to significantly improve gloss and clarity.

For heavier defects and more demanding paintwork, the Two Stage Correction allows for a more intensive level of correction and refinement.

A Deep Clean focuses primarily on getting the vehicle thoroughly cleaned and refreshed inside and out.

Detailing goes further. Services such as paint enhancement, paint correction and ceramic coating involve working on the condition and finish of the paintwork, rather than simply cleaning it.

If the car is dirty but the paintwork looks good, a Deep Clean may be all it needs. If you're looking to improve swirls, scratches, gloss or paint clarity, machine polishing is the better route.

Yes, many swirl marks, wash marring and light scratches can be significantly reduced or removed through machine polishing.

The amount of correction possible depends on the depth of the defects, the type and condition of the paint and how much clear coat is available to safely work with.

A Single Stage Enhancement is designed to improve lighter defects and restore gloss and clarity. A Two Stage Correction allows more time for heavier defects before the paintwork is refined to achieve the best safe finish possible.

Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat cannot simply be polished away.

A Maintenance Valet is considerably quicker than a Deep Clean, while paint enhancement and correction services can take most of a day or longer depending on the vehicle and the amount of work required.

Yes. I offer ceramic coating for customers across Cornwall looking for longer-lasting protection for their vehicle's paintwork.

Before applying a ceramic coating, the paint needs to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared. Depending on its condition, machine polishing may also be recommended beforehand to improve the finish before it is locked in beneath the coating.

Ceramic coating options start from £200, with the final price depending on the vehicle, preparation required and areas being protected.

Yes. Most work can be carried out at your home or workplace, provided there is a safe and suitable space around the vehicle.

Because I bring my own water and power, you don't need to provide any equipment or utilities.

If you're unsure whether your location is suitable, send me a photo of the parking area before booking.

Light or changeable Cornish weather can often be worked around, and I carry shelter for jobs where conditions allow.

If the weather becomes too severe for the work to be carried out safely or to the standard required, I'll contact you and arrange the best way forward.

Paint correction, polishing and ceramic coating are more weather-sensitive than routine valeting, so conditions are taken into account before these jobs go ahead.

Not for the whole appointment.

As long as I can access the vehicle and have any keys needed for the interior, you're free to get on with your day while I work.

For larger detailing and paint correction jobs, I'll normally discuss the vehicle with you beforehand and go through the finished result with you afterwards where possible.

Yes. Commissioned detailing work is available outside Cornwall for suitable vehicles and projects.

This can include cars kept at second homes, collections, event preparation and vehicles that need specialist valeting or detailing away from their usual location.
